Re: I Have Pulled the Trigger !

Hey Don. I'm sure that Matt and Christie would be happy to see that their Kaleo has such a caring owner. She's lookin good!

We're on the other coast (of Florida) doing what you're doing after selling the home and everything in it. We'll see you on the other side, sooner or later.

Enjoy, and stay safe.

Re: I Have Pulled the Trigger !

Hi Don
Boat is looking better and better.
I am so glad to see you living he dream it all looks so good!
Weather here in UK is rubbish.
I have decided to sell my boat and get a 32' so we can confortably spend some time in the Med, so concequentially my boat is ashore and I have prepared the topsides for a repaint, however the temperature is 5 Degrees (centigrade) I have just ordered 5 heat lamps and bought a tarpaulin to cover so hopefully I can raise the temp to a figure appropiate for two pack paint, however I rigged it as a tent last night and this morning it had allmost blown away. Snow forecast Ugh, it snowed a tiny bit today but hopefully sat or sun will be better.
I'm sure you have much better weather there!

Re: I Have Pulled the Trigger !

Just thought you might be interested,
Today's Weather, Feb 22, 2013, Partly Cloudy, High 82°F, low 63°F, wind SSE 10knts.

The extra room will be good for you. Get to the Med so you don't need heat lamps, you can paint the boat there.

:-( we got 12" to 14" of snow yesterday & I'am tired of winter. Can't even get out of the driveway till I get it plowed. I've always been of the opinion that god put it there & he would remove it. He doesn't work fast enough for the Admiral.

Re: I Have Pulled the Trigger !

The cushions in the salon were starting to rot (The fabric was just giving up, the foam is still good.) So I had them recovered. Just got them back and they look good. They seam a little small (about 1/2 inch) but I guess the fabric has to stretch.

Nice
Hasn't stopped raining for more than a few hours for weeks here in UK, I got one coat of paint on and flatted for the next, she's gonna have to go back in with the topsides rubbed down ready to paint.

Re: I Have Pulled the Trigger !

Ah, Spring.

Though April showers may come your way,
They bring the flowers that bloom in May.

Opps, it's only March! So much to look forward to.
