I am Officially a Liveaboard !
After a long trip around the peninsula of Florida and many challenges along the way. I am docked in St. Augustine running my new restaurant (back40cafe.com). The simplicity and over all experience is everything I imagined. If any of you are in the area stop in the restaurant. 40 South Dixie hwy. Now the fun begins working on this beautiful 41 Cheoy Lee Offshore!

Welcome to St Augustine. We have an Ingrid 38 currently on the hard at St Augustine Marine. We originally sailed her from Ft Myers. Can appreciate your journey to get here. Good luck with your restaurant!! S/V Kokopelli Linda & Chuck

In Florida you are a fulltime cruiser and not a live aboard. Seems to make a difference with the new laws

That's right. In Florida, you're only a live-aboard if you never move your boat from the dock or its anchorage.

Actually being a 'boat in transit' is the best answer. Just make sure u have an address

Re: I am Officially a Liveaboard!
Hi
The new ,Oct 2009 , law to do with anchoring and mooring is the definition of a liveaboard.
The law is very specific
Florida law 327.02

Re: I am Officially a Liveaboard !
Hey, we're here in St Aug also ... we'll check you out. Without a car, looks like we could take the Blue line bus & then walk just a couple of blocks?
