Re: How to deal with not having a physical address while cruising

UK issues probably deserve their own thread.

In the US, many financial institutions and gov agencies subscribe to database services and knock back mail service addresses when you try to use them as your legal residence.

St Brendan's Isle and Escapees seem to have figured it out though.

no problem at all, when ever we stop somewhere, we give them a call and any mail is forwarded to us.
Thank you so much, Excellent advice!!!

Re: How to deal with not having a physical address while cruising

Good info. We are moving aboard full time Easter weekend to our boat in Long Beach, CA. We plan to use the recommendations and will go with Saint Brendon's Isle moving forward as we are heading south November 1st. We have been with Wells Fargo for 25 years and am not sure what their policy will be or how Wells will interact with us as we travel to foreign countries. Does anyone have experience with Wells Fargo? Is it time to change to a different bank for checking, savings, IRA and credit cards. Mainly will Wells Fargo be ok with a change of address to a new Saint Brendon's Isle address.

Or.....do we move to a different bank now in advance of signing up SBI in a few weeks. I'm thinking What banks accept SBI address and are best for foreign travel.

Thanks
Randy
