Help with a Magma Grill

I have a Magma grill on my boat that is no longer functioning (burner problems). I have chosen to replace it with another grill. My problem is that after a recent voyage through the Atlantic the connector between the Magma burner control and my boats LPG system has siezed. I cannot get the connection off, no matter the level of effort. Was looking for any suggestions here (and now recognize that leaving this connected was not too smart). It seemed like a very simple ball joint that you could pull back and remove...

Magma replacement burners are like $18. To remove (blue) regulator from grill rotate until upside down...maybe not exactly upside down, wiggle and it should pull out. The supply hose to regulator is right hand thread...maybe some pb blaster/wd will help. Best guess from what was written. Disconnect from tank for safety, heat will destroy regulator.
