Re: good boat movies?

Do that, and enjoy. John Candy and Martin Short are (or were) well known Canadian actor/comedians who worked together before becoming famous and starring in 2 of the best sailing comedies ever made.
Cheers Bruce,
David

Interesting story of the wrecking days of Key West. Another film that takes place in Key West is 92 IN THE SHADE starring Peter Fonda about feuding Bonefish fishing guides. Though the film has a "hollywood" ending. Tom McGuanes book does not.

The film was called "White Squall" with Jeff Bridges and John Savage.

Grant,

I was able to find the series online, and bought it a couple years back. My dad had talked about watching it when he was a kid, so I found it and took it with me when I stayed with him recovering from a surgery. Excellent campy shows, and they even left some of the old Chesterfeild commercials in some of the episodes.
