Gemini legacy hot water

Hey am just looking at buying a Gemini and was wondering how the hot water system works? I'm in New Zealand and buying in the US.
They already have lpg/cng for the stove and fridge but from what I can tell it heats off the engine. Not ideal if al you want to do is wash the dishes or have a quick shower. Its going to be a live aboard. Any advise or knowledge out there?

Will you be in a marina where shore power is possible? If so, you should be able to install an electric water heater. Not sure of the LPG water heaters as the venting could be an issue plus I believe they need to run while level, not that big of a deal for a cat though. Carbon Monoxide would also be a concern.

Legacy comes standard with water heater that uses engine heat and 120vac electric.
