Fall Housekeeping

Can we swap tips on fall housekeeping steps unique to liveaboards? Boating magazines always focus on winter layup for the boat. Aside from getting the woolens out of mothballs or pointing the bow southward, what are some things you do in the fall to ready your liveaboard life for the new season?

Re: Fall Housekeeping

Step 1) Find Girlfriend.
Step 2) Buy her a feather duster.

Step one: find a boyfriend
Step two: receive feather duster from him and tickle torture him into doing the house work

Re: Fall Housekeeping

In seriousness, Carolyn over at the boat galley web site has some advice. I believe she recommends removing everything from the lockers, cleaning them out and replacing anything you have used for insect control.
You will have to do some searching on her site to find it.
The Boat Galley — getting the most out of your boat kitchen . . . and more!
