Do I need AC?

I use my portable A/C unit for heat. It features a heat pump, or reverse cycle and I think it works great. Produces over twice the heat of an electric 1500 watt unit and uses less electricity.

It's big and bulky though and I keep it in the corner of the salon on my cruiser, ducting it out the rear sliding doors.
