Re: Cruising in hot places- do you need a calorifier?
I find a water heater with engine heating to be very useful cruising. But I motor if I cant make good speed. I seldom didnt have at least warm water the day after motoring. It's very nice to have a fresh warm rinse after snorkeling for 2 hours etc. Simple, cheap and easy.
