[QUOTE=Lamb Chops;2561454]Hi,
I recently docked at this marina and was shocked when I was quoted a
price of $3,100 for 1 month’s stay for my 46’ sailboat.
Admittedly I am fairly new to the cruising lifestyle (I’ve owned the
boat for several years now) but this
price was over 3X the price I paid at Liberty Marina right in
New York City!!!
My question to the forum is - is this even remotely what I should have expected to pay for Ft. Lauderdale? After all this is a city run marina and so I expected the pricing to be under the typical going rate for the more high priced/high style
marinas in Ft. Lauderdale.
Any input or thoughts appreciated!

That sounds about right for Las Olas. And you get kicked out in November for the
boat show! If you really want to feel abused go down the river a bit to Pier 66! We were lucky and found a slip behind a house right by the 17th street bridge for 1000 a month. But no liveaboards officially allowed on the canals so discretion is required. Owners let us use
laundry, pool and BBQ and driveway for car as they were not there. Best deal ever!
