In my case, my boat is in Newfoundland, and they are still telling us 'come from aways' to Stay Away! I really don't see them changing this prematurely. Same goes for the international border.
Mike, I wouldn't be surprised if Newfoundland and Labrador came up with a "formula" to allow interprovincial travel by mid/late June. Otherwise, a second summer with near-zero tourism.

Providing we survive, we'll definitely have a cruising season this year here in BC. We did last summer. With/without international border closure.

Perhaps a second boat out here?

Re: Covid Travel 2021

I was just commenting today that we could be faced with a “ lost 2021 “. I now think it will be 2022 before normality returns.

Quite a depressing thought

Hopefully I’m proved wrong

You might be able to arrange a more costly quarantine, but until there is some form of boat passport arrangement, the borders are not open, and you'll definitely have to have some kind of quarantine. It is that cruising sailors are really unimportant in the larger picture. Some people in some places have commenced discussions with the immigration and health officers to arrange for covid free test the day of departure, and then test on arrival, and each day thereafter till 3 weeks is reached, as the new strain of Covid is more contagious, and for a longer period.
