CG Cellular warning
After Island WIFI went down, I moved to CG Cellular for the boat data plan. That went well (short of not having an auto pay subscription anyway) through my Dec 13 Renewal. Then on Dec 27 I get an email stating hotspots will no longer be serviced as of 12/31/2020. When the "stuff" hit the fan with Island WIFI, they promptly refunded unused payment to me and other customers (all as far as I know).
I promptly replied to them asking what needed to be done for a refund for the remaining time, as they changed the terms of service mid month. In all fairness, AT&T changed their terms, forcing CG to do this. Their response below:

- Please note that we do NOT offer refunds for prepaid services, plans, and bills payment.
- We offer a 14 day return/exchange policy on most physical items (routers)

As I explained to them, if I wanted out, that would be understandable. If I signed up under the new terms, then that's on me. I would caution anyone doing business with them, in that if something changes, they will keep your $ and basically say "tough s^%$. Not an outfit I would ever do business with again.
