Building a watermaker

hey,
i'm trying to build a watermaker, got a great deal on a 4 inch membrane housing. the highest flow is 16 gpm. but what is the operating flow.
trying to find the perfect pump,but noone can answer this one specific question. can anyone help

Not sure if this will help but there is a program called Rosa9.exe that gives some parameters for watermaker membranes. I haven't looked at it yet so can't say for certain if it will answer you question, but could be useful otherwise.
