Best cities to look for sailboats to crew on

Hello there,
There are a lot of experienced sailors here! I'd absolutely appreciate some good insight in the following question:

What are the cities/islands that are most popular for offshore sailors to be, at the different months of the year?

I'm trying to find out what city/island in the world should I visit to have the best chances to crew on a boat, in different months. It'd be great to make a list naming the potential cities for each month.

I would say Tahiti is best. Some of the crew get tired of the skipper after the trip from Mexico and would like to go someplace else

I think that this answer would vary according to your interest in a cruising area and your own geographical location. Fort Lauderdale, Florida would be a good location for the North Atlantic and Caribbean and best from November to June.
