Atlantic Crossing

hi i have crossed the atlantic west to east leaving antigua early may before but this year due to commitments i cant leave until the 1st week in june.I would welcome any comments as im not sure if this is too late to leave as most people seem to leave april/may.thanks.

I believe this is the other way round - end of May and June are best. Early May can be early.

We crossed each time taking off around May 25'ish and sailing thru June. One passage was OK the other was awesome.

Latest I've done a summer crossing was a June 14th departure from St Martin in a Bene 321 solo.. apart from being chased by 3 waterspouts early on it was the best crossing I've ever experienced.

Should add.. I got passed by 3 bigger crewed boats a couple off weeks into the trip.. so figure they left at least a week after me.. I was not pushing it..
