Are you looking for insurance in UK/EU

Wanted to pass along a company I have contacted regarding insurance for sailing in UK and EU. The issue I have is that I'm Canadian but want to purchase a sailboat in UK where I am not a permanent resident which is a major stumbling block for most insurance companies. Daniel and the company he represents has helped in providing me with coverage for my requirements and I would highly recommend you contact him if you are in a similar situation.. he's very professional and returns any correspondence in a timely fashion!... Good luck😀⛵

Re: Are you looking for insurance in UK/EU

They are the only insurance company that would insure us too (American flagged boat). They allowed us to do a liability only policy without survey for around $400 a year.

We never had to test the coverage, so besides giving us a piece of paper to satisfy marinas, I'm not sure how well they will come through during a crisis. But I have reason to doubt them either.
