Hi everyone,
My name is Garrett, I'm 21 and currently living in
France. I've decided to join this forum because I am thoroughly interested in
living aboard a
sail boat, saving up
money and later, traveling around the world.Unfortunately, I'm new to all of this and was wondering if any of you lovely people could share your knowledge and insight with me. (btw, I have a full year before making my decision to buy the boat)
So, I have a few questions that I'd love some help with.
First, can 5,000 euros buy me a 28 ft or less sailboat? I've seen some online but I'm not sure about the quality.
Second, would I be able to have a toilet/shower, cook top etc in the
boat that size?
Third, Does anyone know of any websites where I can find comprehensive (preferably free) courses on how to sail?
Fourth, I'd love to hear your personal experience living on a
boat, what type of boat you live on, the pros and the cons.
