Where Next

We are currently in shelter bay marina in panama, we don't want to go through the canal as we haven't seen the Caribbean yet. My question is with the trades building where is the best sail? We purchased the boat in panama so we have the whole Caribbean to explore. I was thinking north to San Andreas then up the coast to Belize.
Any thoughts, suggestions?

I'd take in the San Blas Islands while I was weighing up my choices...
Over 370 Islands to explore.. only 49 are inhabited so you can lose yourself or be as social as you wish... its worth the visit

I've not done it , but going due East is a heck of a bash to windward I hear. I say work your way North then down toward Hispaniola.
Yeah, i wouldnt miss San Blas if you are nearly there!
