Hello All,
We are making our return
Atlantic crossing (Europe to Americas), departing from La Palma, Canary Islands, later this week.
How do others manage time zone changes while underway? Do you change the ships's clocks when you cross a time zone? Do you do it a certain time of day or night when in the vicinity of a new time zone? Do you set to the
destination time when you depart? Etc. (I can't
recall how we did it in the U.S.
Navy during my several crossings in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. I think we did it at 0100 or 0200.)
Thanks for your thoughtful comments.
