I’ve never noticed many crab pots and prefer to be in close to shore, especially in an
offshore breeze. But I’m from
Maine and realize both of our definitions of “many” crab pots is subjective. It can be bad if you hit one but luckily they are big enough so they’re pretty easy to see, at least during the day.
I’ve always anchored at Cape May but think I’ll check out Henlopen instead when I
head north next month.
