Sailing from Thailand to Sydney. Australia

I have just signed up on this site so just still getting familiar with it. For the last four months, I have been solo backpacking in South East Asia and am now on my way to Australia to find work. As opposed to flying, I would be keen to sail to Australia so was wondering if anyone was looking for crew/assistance on their boat. If not it would be helpful does anyone know the ways to get aboard a boat to Aus?

I am 26 and have some experience sailing my fathers Sigma 38. I have participated in Cowes week a few times and have done some night time sailing across the Channel to France. I am hardworking, disciplined and enjoy working in a team. It would be good to hear from anyone with their thoughts. My email address is: thomas.simcox :at: googlemail :dot: com
