If the SY you will rent have French flag, you should find the Nautical Instructions K11, edited by the S.H.OM. on board. This boock provid all official instructions and informations for this area. You can buy and download it on official S.H.O.M. web page.

Torsten is kind of 'classifying' the anchorages also but the pictures might help as a first step.

The area is awesome but as Lihuedooley77 said, avoid times when cruise ships pull in.
