Matecumbe to Clearwater non-stop?

Is this doable? I know the area from Matecumbe Harbor west initially includes a commercial route, but once I'm out into deeper water on my first day, can I continue non-stop all the way to Clearwater, or are there reasons not to overnight in this neighborhood? I know there are lovely places I'll miss, but the crew I have is more interested in speed than sights, being limited in time.

I am sailing a 38' sloop, 5' draft, 6+ kts under power, varies under sail.
