Kemah to Bahamas

Anyone heading to the Bahama's from Kemah? Galveston this winter? Looking for buddy (boat)s for the trip or any good routing information.

We’re taking off Dec 1, ultimately to Panama via Florida, Bahamas, Puerto Rico.

Our current plan is to start off either in the ditch if the weather isn’t right outside then pop out when able, or get lucky and catch a cold front right off the bat to make our easting.

Last time we did the ditch to the Mississippi it took us roughly 7 days of lollygagging.

Leaving our little corner of the gulf really just requires timing a cold front to ride as far east as possible to avoid beating to Florida.
