This is probably one of the best
forums I've ever been on, and not just for
boating. Everyone should pat themselves on the back, I'd buy you all a
beer if I could.
I'm just getting into
boating and I'm currently working on a
boat in MA. Plan on motoring, sailing when possible, the
ICW and eventually getting settled somewhere along the Gulf. I've lived in SoCal for about 22 years and would have stayed but wasn't as informed as I should have been. Didn't think there were options (any) for really living on the ball or anchorage. Living in Marina isn't an option here but is in places like LA/TX. Also thought cruising the FL/Bahama Islands would be a little more fun and provide more options.
Thank you for all of the answers you provided to Salty Seniora, you've also clued me in to options that are available out here. Great to know that IF the
boat sale doesn't go through I have options for looking closer to home.
