Again it's important to understand that there are no public
marinas I'm aware of in the
Outer Banks except maybe way down in
Ocracoke. Manteo is about as close as you'll get, and while far nicer than e-City it is actually a decent distance from the
Outer Banks (definitely beyond walking distance). So if you didn't like staying in e-City because it wasn't actually at the Outer Banks you won't actually be able to do any better than Manteo.
