US Taxes & Solar Deductions!

Hi folks, just a friendly reminder that 2019 was the last year for the 30% deductible for solar if your boat qualifies as a second home. So, if your doing US taxes and installed solar or a wind generator don't forget to submit the paperwork for the deduction.

It gets better, my CPA informed me that any other costs directly associated with the installation of the panels could also be deducted. For me, that meant that all wiring, and the 6 solar controllers qualified. Also, because I installed an arch this year specifically to mount the solar panels, that also qualified in the deduction.

This year the deductible drops to 26%, and lower each subsequent year.
