UK flagged boat ownership in Croatia

I found many UK boat owners selling their British flagged vessel in Croatia.

Does anybody know if this has a specific reason, maybe due to Brexit, or upcoming problems I am not yet aware of??

Brexit, same on the house market in Spain. Last few years over 200.000 Brits left Spain to return permanently to the UK.

Well I am a resident in Portugal and my pension has dropped by €150 however.. being a €500/mth sailor I am still €45 in pocket.. no plans to head for Blighty.
Lots of needless knicker twisting to my mind..

Brexit plus big increase in Sojourn tax seem to had an effect. Plus of course, many Brit boats are owned by retirees of which a proportion will pack in sailing each year, sell the boat and buy an RV or just pack it in.
My anecdotal evidence is that Brit expats often develop a real or anticipated health concern and eventually seek to return to the comfort of the UK NHS.
Now that Croatia is in the EU, Brits are now happier to sell a boat in Croatia rather than return to UK or other EU countries

I live in Lisbon/Belém and sail there ...let's have a beer ;-)
