Surveyor in GTC Bahamas

Can someone recommend a surveyor in Green Turtle Cay, Bahamas. I need it for insurance. The boat is an older ketch.

If engaging a Surveyor ask the following:

1) What relevant experience he has in small vessel Pre Purchase Surveys
2) What Survey Society does he belong to and if current membership
3) Does he carry Insurance Coverage for such P&I(Professional Indemnity)

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. Though I have owned and sailed the boat for awhile so I am looking for someone who will satisfy the insurance company requirements here in the US.

You might ask Scott Roberts, the Manager at Abaco Yacht Services, 242-365-4033. If there is a surveyor at GTC (or Man O' War) he probably knows them.
