Well, then you are clueless and have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about. Mineral spirits are one of the only solvents approved for use on polycarbonate as it has no effect at all on the material.
You’re talking about plexiglass. The OP was (if I can remember all this time later) talking about polycarbonate.
Get your facts straight before you try to “correct” accurate information.
Do you think I made my post from NOT having used it and NOT having invented the power tool assistance technique to make it go faster?
I’ve done this for like 3 years now, multiple times a year on my polycarbonate windows. It’s the only solvent approved for use on polycarbonate by the manufacturer.
You don’t have the first clue what you’re talking about. Yet you start “correcting “ good posts?
