Prices for Used Equipment

Ahoy, Is it just me getting old and crotchety at age 71 or do some of these Craigslist folks and Forum posters actually believe that the used equipment that they are listing is worth anywhere near the kind of money that they are asking? I have seen some used equipment listed for more than it was worth new! Must be the experience that it has, huh? Let's get real, Folks!

Its worth what someone will pay for it. I've seen many an Ebay auction go well beyond the price in a brick and mortar store.

Yeah, I made that mistake on E-Bay once and didn't come out too badly, but a lot wiser. Fortunately, the item that I purchased was like new and I only paid $5 more than the new price with shipping. Relatively inexpensive lesson! It has never happened since!
