Is it worth getting the Charters license?

Yeah I decided for my purposes, the charter idea doesn't work. I still need to make some $$$ to offset maintenance costs, but chartering isn't the right decision for me.

Thank you all for the wonderful advice & support. :-) it helped me make an informed decision.

This is funny - a friend of mine said I should put a bucket on my boat that says Donations Requested every time I exhibit at the classic boat shows. That may not be a bad idea! LOL

Sorry it does not work out. Lawsuits and crazy payouts for injuries have seen to it that it is not viable.

It is also difficult to make fun jobs work because so many people want one which causes crazy high competition driving down what you can charge.
