Handyman / Repairman Who Can Make Parts Onsite

I've been wanting to be a liveaboard cruiser, and i'm curious how many of you would pay for replacement aluminum/plastic parts that could be designed and built when/where you needed them?

I'm a hobby machinist and 3D designer, along with being a computer repairman, and I am figuring on bring a Reprap 3D printer and a small CNC mill along on my boat.

In short I could take measurements and pictures then design and create repair parts on the spot.
