European Brokers

I am actively looking for sailboat in the Med. I expect to be over there in May so I am doing my homework.

I have sent several specific questions to the brokers for boats listed on YachtWorld.com. I have yet to get a single answer.

Is this normal business? Is the market so good they don't care? Or??????

I would appreciate any comments or experience from the Forum on this issue and what the best process is to find a boat in the Med. Tx all.

Not really. There are very good brokers in the Med. It depends to whom you did send your queries. Some Italian brokers are too poor in languages so they don' t reply but the remaining is quite able and willing.
Much to do with the subject is how you worded your inquiry.

Don't email, phone them. Few brokers in the med are proficient enough to write in a foreign language, even though they speak it well.
