EU boat registration

Hi guys.
I am about to buy a boat registered in France. If I have a european passport of another EU country, can I keep the boat registered in France?

Recommend you perform an internet search in the French language for the requirements as to which French vessel registry is applicable and the procedures, in particular as to if you have eligibility for such Flag if the owner is not a citizen or a resident of France.

My three years of French language classes near on 50 years ago does not avail me the ability to search in the native language. Googling in English brings up nothing of usefulness.

Yes you can but why you choose France do you have a loan agreement for the purchase of a yacht in france
