Starting to understand marine equipment is expensive. Water & 100% reliability are an expensive combo.

Researching how to make boating less expensive/profitable. But maybe just easier ways to make money than boat related.

Yep, there is no quick easy way to make honest money in boating.

There are ways to reduce boating costs, that takes time and effort.

It may be best for you to find an income source to support your boating habit than to have your boating habit support you.

I bought a 16 foot canoe two seasons ago for $150. Life jackets & paddles put me in another $150. Anchor $20. I don't have to register it in Illinois since it's not motorized. Have a small pop up camper/trailer to haul it with my 2005 Prius. Bought popup camper because Illinois was charging $150 annually for utility trailer.(talk about small business unfriendly!) Whereas camper is like $30/year. Illinois finally changed the $150 back to $30.

I can go canoeing/camping for cheap on my live aboard Prius ha.
