Advice on insurance

Hello forum,

I own a 42 Bavaria currently moored in Chaguaramas, Trinidad.

Can anybody recommend an insurance where I am allowed to stay in the water during the hurricane period ?

All opinions about the choice of insurance in the area will be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
Allan

Re: Advice on insurance

Check Al Golden for jackline policy (IMIS Home Page ~ International Marine Insurance Services). Heard many good things about them. You can also try to get a quote from Commandeur (www.commandeur.nu). We just signed on with Commandeur. We have read good and not so good things about them on the boards but the rates and coverage was better. I know, if they don't pay the claim it doesn't matter, but all insurance is a gamble.
