Midland to Beausoliel has lots of deep water so will not be a problem.
Just have a good look over the charts and pay attention ot the
chartplotter if sailing in areas off the small craft
route. All along the mainland coing out of Midland Bay, is a sandy shoal that comes out a fair distance into the bay. Also pay attention to the 2 green buoys well off the south tip of Beausoliel, which mark another sany shoal, even at 18" could be an issue.
There are a few areas of open water with rock shoals, so check for those before heading out.
If you
anchor, there a 3 good areas. Cedar Springs is the main
dock area and you'll see a lot of boats anchored there, just past the narrow
passage between the red / green buoys. Other spot I like is Tonche Point and furthest north is Chimney Bay.
Wind is supposed to be from the NE this weekend, ( check again before you go) so owuld favour Chimey Bay or just
anchor out in the mian area along shore somewhere.
You may want to go around Roberts Island past Picnic Island to Honey Harbour and not take the shortcut through Big Dog Channel, although you could probably make it, it gets dicey in a few spots.
