Thumbs up

Well, we're back! It was a great shake down cruise! About 4 days of "bad" weather, rain, fog, cold, but then the weather changed to sunny blue skies, wind and warmth for the rest of the cruise. Had a great time at the Lilac Festival on Mackinac Island. Sailed from there to Hessel for three nights (bad weather) then on to Goverment Bay and spent two nights on the hook. Explored Gov't Island (it is an island that is part of the Hiawatha National Forest)> We also flew a kite at anchor off of the boat one day. Then from there we had to motor sail to Drummond Island. Variable light winds, the lake was like glass, with pollen laying on the top of the water. I don't have allergies, but my husband does, and he was suffering even with medications. Now the boat is "at it's new home" on Drummond Island. Of course I have more pictures and will post more on this site.
