Re: Anchorages Along the St. Lawrence ?

Good Stuff Sailing Kelly,
Our vessel is Bridlewilde from Picton, ON. She's a 33' Mason sloop - burgundy hull. Our expected sail date from Prince Edward County, Waupoos Marina is June 15. Hopefully we'll be able to manage regular input to our blog which is currently under construction. More to follow soon. Hope to see you on the water. Fair Winds.

Just came back from Toronto - Quebec city - Toronto cruise. It took us exactly 30 days to go to and come back.
The current is pretty strong in some places but manageble. Lockage was not a problem even upstream. Many places to anchor.

Re: Anchorages Along the St. Lawrence ?

Summer 2011 I sailed the route and did anchor in a few places along the St. Lawrence. My website (below) has lots of details about the trip including my boat, preparation, charts & guides used, etc. The Down East Circle Route by Capt Cheryl Barr was a valuable tool, paper backup charts were expensive, radar was a must. You can do searches for specifics or contact me thru my website. I'm happy to answer any questions.
