Since posting this ad for a sailboat mast I've encountered three people who pm'd me who were SCAMMERS

First two were hilariously cagey about details, took multiple emails just to figure out the mast location, refused to provide any photos or dimensions, insisted multiple times that I send them the $ using Zele first before they provide any basic info. I offered to travel there myself and personally take care of payment and shipping but of course no sorry they only want payment first. One true idiot wanted me to actually send the payment to his "cousin" ("don't worry, it's ok")

If you're talking about a Pearson Alberg 35 I may have a lead. I haven't looked in a few weeks but there was one here in the yard last time I checked. Not sure if it's still intact but if not there is most likely a long bit of it. I have a couple of 10'-ish sections from another if that would work. (Corpus Christi Tx).

If it's of any interest I do also have a set of new SS rigging for said boat. I posted an ad or two on here a while ago but gave up when I just had a similar experience to you with scammers.

There are many old stock mostly Catalina masts currently available in Florida. Something like a Catalina 34 mast would suit or also there are some 350 furling masts. These aren't bargain basement items but will be much less than a custom order new mast.
