WINDLASS-LUNENBURG #2 BRONZE

WINDLESS WAS USED 4 TIMES IN SEA TRIALS, BY BROOKLIN BOAT YARD. WINDLASS IS BEING REMOVED FROM NEWLY BUILT SCHOONER, AND WILL BE REPLACED BY ELECTRIC WINDLASS DURING WEEK OF AUG 24.

CAST APPROX 1994 AT LUNENBURG FOUNDRY, NOVA SCOTIA
HEIGHT—21” (MOUNTED)
WIDTH – 34”
WEIGHT ESTIMATE APPROXIMATELY 300 LBS
CHAIN GYPSIES ARE 22” APART
5 TEAK STICKS – VARY IN LENGTH

The last price we have on the No.2 Cargo Windlass was that it was being sold for $7400 (1994 PRICE).
However, we have not sold or repaired windlasses in decades and I wouldn’t know much about the market place for used equipment.
