Hi again, Goat. I saw the picture of your stern and the brackets are the same but our placement is a little different.. If I could get your email, I could email you the picture of the stern of our boat, Aegean Odyssey and also a picture looking down upon the Fleming.
You might get in touch with the marinas over in San Carlos that had such heavy hurricane damage. I suspect (just a guess) that there will be much salvaged gearfor sale. There was an Ariesfor sale a while back from a damaged boat, at a reasonable price. Worth a try??? _____Grant.
Now that you mention it, I'd heard there was a Dreadnought 32 that went down at the dock or fell off its jack stands on the hard at San Carlos (seemed like the same rumor, but suppose it could be two boats), and the Monitorwind vane was a part of the story. Probably worth a call. But I can't help with an exact where, broker, marina or storage. Good luck.

Hi Mexsailorgirl, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, boozing and carousing in la Paz. Anyhoo; kenouwehand at gmail. com will get ahold of me. Hope you can figure out the address.
Hi all, goat here.
I'm in la Paz and decided it's time to fetch up some self steering.
....
goat.
I have a complete MonitorWindvane and the boat will be in San Carlos in a couple weeks. Since we are not considering ocean crossings soon, I might be installing a ram on the rudder quadrant for autopilot instead of using the windvane.
Can do a partial trade for davits.
