Re: Walker Bay 8
Let me think about it.... The WB are spendy.... but well built... Probably not too heavy to lift over lifelines (at 80 lbs?) for on deck security/passages???.... Still pondering.... Do you have a bottom line???
On another note... you may have answered a question to another post...
http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...-a-102103.html
I did find lately that it will need extensive re-gluing... Probably not worth the project... This one is rated for a 25hp max.... What will your Takacat take???

Re: Walker Bay 8
The Walker Bay is fairly light, I don't think mine weights 80. I handle it by myself with ease. It rows well. I just don't like that I can't stow it.
Takacat.com is the website, go have a look

Re: Walker Bay 8
Forgot to ask... Does the sale price include a tour of a pretty Catana???
Zee... This it the first time I have had to say these words to a female....
"Keep your hands away from my tender dingy..."

Re: Walker Bay 8
rodl..i only have transient oarlock and curved blade envy..it is intermittent, and only in play while rowing my poor wb8 in big winds--it doesnt do well in over 17 kts, i found...but, that is why gods made kayaks for me...lol

MDR
depends on when you come get boat, the Catana is in a yard in Pensacola right now, but hopefully we'll be done caressing her bottom soon ;-)
