Location: Georgetown MD (Sassafras River).
Price: asking price $1300.

This came from a 42' sailboat but would probably fit many other sizes. The sail is in OK shape. The snuffer is OK except there are a few small holes. The ATN Tacker is in very good condition. Here are the dimensions of the sail:
Leech 51' (following the curve)
Luff 45' (following the curve)
Foot 26'
Head to Clew (in a straight line) 49'

It fits well on my boat which has these dimensions:
I: 57.67'
J: 16.50'
P: 45.67
E: 15.50
Forestay length: 54'

Snuffer is 45' long.

New the ATN Tacker and the snuffer sell for about $239 (Tacker) and $540 (snuffer $12/ft X 45 ft). I imagine the sail would be a few thousand dollars. I do not know the weight of the sail material. Local pickup preferred. Delivery to mid/upper Chesapeake bay possible.

Yes, this is still for sail. Send me your zip code so I can look into how much it would cost to send it. Then I can make a decision.

I would prefer someone that could come and actually see the sail/snuffer/ATN Tacker before buying just so they know exactly what they are getting. But, that would be your call since you are interested in it. By any chance do you know anyone in my area that could come by to see it?

Anyway, let me know the zip so I can look up shipping. I'll be away during the day tomorrow but hopefully back in the evening and able to find out a shipping price if I hear back from you by then.

What weight’s the cloth, & nylon not polyester, right? I’m assuming it’s an asym, but reacher, runner, or general purpose? And specific wind angles would help If you know them.

Uncivilized - this sail was with the boat when we bought her. I don't know enough about material or types to say anything more about that than my original post. She flies (or is it flys?) nice and gives us a good turn of speed when we use it. My reason for selling is there are more important additions we need now and could use the money for those.

Drummer... What range of apparent wind were you able to sail with this sail?

BozSail - the best of my recollection is that I've only used it between broad reach and downwind. I'm pretty sure you could also use it on a beam reach. The ATN Tacker makes it work much like a large genoa. I've used it with and without a pole and I liked it better without the pole. Plus it's so easy that way.

BozSail - I just reread your last post and I think I answered to a different question. I've used in very light air up to about 15kts apparent. In my opinion that was a little to high. I waited too long to take it down when the wind picked up!
