Si-tex G1 Vector Satellite GPS compass

Used Si-tex G1 vector gps compass. I bought this for our refit, but instead installed a Vector compact compass.

As you can see in the photo, the cable connector does have a crack and you'll need a new cable from Si-tex or Hemisphere (about $120). I was not able to test it since I never bought the cable for this unit, but they're just two gps sensors and pretty much indestructible.

New, the price is around $1900
I'll sell this for $450

Matt

Re: Si-tex G1 Vector Satellite GPS compass

Matt,

Why the change to the Compact from this? From what I learned, this has a better heading accuracy than the compact. In fact the Compact has similar accuracy as the Airmar h2183 of 2*.I know the compact is newer, so I probably has a few more bells and whistles under the hood. Just curious, I'm mulling over your Airmar for sale, and kinda this one...sorta (:

Hey Ronnie,

I was planning on installing this and the Airmar for redundancy, but a deal came through for the compact that I couldn't refuse.
