Complete Scanmar Monitor Windvane with wheel adapter and 3 air blades in pristine condition for sale. Unit is from 2013. Currently installed on our sailboat.


Asking $2,900 for the complete unit. Includes the vane assembly, mounting tubes, wheel adapter, control lines and blocks, three airvanes in excellent condition and one additional in useable condition, and a spare safety tube. One of the airvanes was custom ordered from Scanmar to fit below a radar arch. Also includes a partial rebuild kit that is leftover from the last monitor we owned.

Currently located in Beaufort, SC but will be in Brunswick, GA from April 1st onwards. Local pickup or buyer can arrange costs and logistics of shipping (it's not small!).

Hi there - yes it’s still available. It was originally on a Crealock 37, and now is on a 33’ Nor’West, around 14,000 lbs. What type of boat do you have? Scanmar are amazing about answering questions if you are trying to figure out how/if it would work for you.

It is very large and quite heavy, so I have a feeling shipping would be cost-prohibitive, but if you want to send me your address I'd be happy to look into a shipping estimate.

ok, how heavy is the monitor? At the moment Address is a "small" Problem, as we are at anchor on our boat in Marigot Bay.
I will endeavour to enquire tomorrow, if I can have it shipped maybe to DHL at the Airport and pick it up there. Or what Possibilities there are.
Would you be agreeable with a sum of 2500 US$ for the unit??? I don't think the shipping should be more than $200US ?? I will ask around and get back to you.
Packaging? in a large Box??

Sorry I am not more prepared but only saw the advert this morning.

Looks like a great fit for my Pacific Seacraft 31? I need to look at the map to see how far you are from Charleston/Seabrook.
Will you remove or looking for the buyer to take it off? Tough time to travel. I'm near Philly with boat on the Chessie.
