Sailing items from a Bristol 35.5c.

Sadly to say, this Fall 2022, we lost our Beloved Bristol 35.5 in a big storm and ended up on the rocks with the boat totaled. Tow Boat US came as did the USCG. Tow Boat was financially motivated only. big Disappointment. Nuff said on that. We have a large amount of sailing goodies that are in great shape. Sails, Viking Raft, Spinnaker Poles, anchors, Lines, hardware, canvas, Sailomat, Wind Turbine, perfect piece of 1/4 inch Mahogany marine Plywood from Boulter. and much much more. If you are looking for anything in particular, please ask me. The above event was a hugely traumatic one, however fortunately, no one was hurt. A bit banged up on the rocky coast, but all safe and sound.

Sorry to hear you lost your boat, good to hear no one was hurt. Did insurance come through and paid?

Where are you located?

Yes, we are located in Marion, MA and Sippican Harbor. We were very lucky finding an excellent Insurance company and its coverage. they came through beautifully. Thank you.

Good to know.

I am interested in knowing what kind of anchor & rode you have? Also, some rigging hardware, electronics etc.

Can you make an inventory of major items?

Hi,

So sorry about you losing your Bristol!
Glad all are OK.

I’m interested in Anchors and Sailomat….and also possibly port lights fixed and opening.
Not sure if you salvaged the parts on the hull.

Thanks!
Now get back to Sailing!!

Re: Sailing items from a Bristol 35.5c.

Hello,
Sorry about your loss.

I am interested in the life raft and the spinnaker poles. Are the poles adjustable and to what length. The raft offshore or coastal, age size , etc.

Thank you

I have no need for anything but feel for you. The Bristol 35.5 is a beautiful boat but it doesn't matter the vessel, a loss is a loss. I'm so sorry.

What size boat is this off and what are the dimensions on the sails?

How old are the EPIRBs and what is their battery expiration date?

Re: listing of items available after our grounding and loss of our Bristol.

I just tested both EPIRBS and they test perfect. The newer bigger one current registration exp.: 02/01/2023, and the smaller older one's registration expired 05/25/2019. the bigger one comes with the wall bracket. It was on our Bristol 35.5c. The older one was on my Regulator 28. I live in Marion, MA.

Please tell me which sails you want the dimensions on please. Mike
