Sailing Equipment - last items from boat wreck

Hello All,

I want to give a huge thanks to the sailing community on this Forum. Months back i began selling all the items from my boat loss and thanks to all the amazing people on here almost all of it found new homes.
I have a few remaining items that need out of my garage.

Cape Horn Extreme 330 -CAPE HORN EXTREME CH-330-12S (TWO 20" MEMBRANES) WATERMAKER, 330GPD/14GPH, 12VDC
Unit is basically brand new. Here is what happened. I installed it a week before a voyage I was to begin and then my boat was damaged beyond repair in a freak accident/storm. Well one of the pumps got slightly wet and it may have caused the pressure switch to act up. But i was able to remove the unit, hook it to 12vdc and cycle the storage fluid into the membranes. The unit is basically new but it’s also not perfect. I paid $9250 for this new a year ago.
I am selling as is for $3750. Buyer pays shipping. - would prefer in person delivery. I live near Albany NY and can deliver to most of eastern seaboard.
Preferably New England region though.

Fish Filet Board - $20 with rail mount

Teak Knife holder - $20

Teak Cup holder - $20

Two Winch handles - $20

Handbook of Sailing - $10

Chapman Piloting And Seamanship - $40. NEW

Boat owners mechanical and electrical - $30. NEW

Random Sailing Components - Miscellaneous parts

See images for all parts. Would like to sell all at once for $250

Electric components plug - $25

Mantus Anchor Swivel - $40

Tensioner. - NEW but box is beat up - $30

Sailing Equipment - last items from boat wreck

On the odd chance that the previous posters don’t buy the loos tension gauge, I’ll definitely take it. For those who are asking, it’s imperial and it covers wire sizes from 1/4 to 3/8.

I may also be interested in the blocks and tackle. Any idea what size line they are for, or are they for a variety of line sizes?

Did I understand that all those blocks and tackle in all of those pictures would go for $250?
If so, I'll take them all.

Re: Sailing Equipment - last items from boat wreck

Thank you all for the quick responses and very active messaging.
All items other than the Spectra Watermaker are now sold.
Two gentlemen each took all the other items as a lot.

update to anyone who may have questions about the water maker.
so the black Shurflo feed pump next to the charcoal filter was triggering off and on after removal when i was attempting to pump storage chemicals into the water maker membranes.

The first thing I would try is to jump/bypass the pressure switch. When speaking to spectra they told me this is very common and that they have seen this fail a bunch of times before, much more often than a Shurflo itself. 9/10 times it is the pressure cut off switch if the pump randomly won’t start. This switch is in place to cut off the Shurflo once it reaches 125psi, but sometimes they malfunction and prevent it from turning on.

Here’s a video link that you will have to copy and paste into a browser.
I received this link direct from spectra and it is showing how to jump the switch to test out. Note that this would just be to check if it runs by jumping the switch, I am not telling you to operate it like this long term.
Pump could be considered still under warranty but the buyer will have to check with spectra on that.

It would also be worthwhile to doublecheck your voltage being fed to the Shurflo at the system terminal block rather than a readout from a panel. For I had a hotwired 12v system hooked up after my boat got smashed.

$3750
THIS IS A HELL OF A DEAL…Water maker is virtually brand new and costs 9k this issue with the pressure switch is likely not a real issue bc as mentioned it only acted up when i had to hotwire the system to pump storage chemicals into the membranes after my boat was lost.

I am interested in the watermaker. Gave you a call but got voicemail. You can reach me at +18683453984. I am on the boat in Trinidad but I have a friend in NYC who can collect it for me.
