Re: Sailboat was lost..so now I sell

Think it over before you sell your gear - I know your most unhappy to have lost your boat. So you should be. However, may I suggest, don't sell your gear yet? Consider first buying another boat. I see from your photos you have invested a lot and worked hard to accumulate a very good collection of hard-earned boat gear - When I look at your photos I see in thoughts bits are an assembly of your dream yet to be fulfilled. Having been there when my boat was knocked over - I was told my boat was totalled, I nearly walked away and send it to the scrap. On a rethink a year and a half later, I had it rebuild. Once a sailor, always a sailor. See my photos, you know I have the experience to know when crap hits the fan hard. Good luck, don't stuff up and also lose your dream because of an error, you will never make again.

Let's not forget the hundreds of hours this fellow spent sourcing and acquiring all this gear. Aside from his discounts on all that new equipment, he'll never recover his time.

Precious Brother And Fellow Sailor,

For whatever it may be worth, I say that YOU ARE ALIVE, so be thankful for that. And as for the one responsible for the loss, FORGIVE THAT SOUL as that too will make you feel much better.

Re: Sailboat was lost..so now I sell

Thank you everyone for the kind words and reply’s. It truly does mean a lot, many hours were spent in the thought and implementation of this gear. Sad to see it go. But its better used than stored and gathering dust.

On a different note: some forum members in the DC area are buying some items such as the victron gear and the batteries. Plus the dometic cooler is also headed that way.
I would be willing to deliver items now around the second or third weekend of July for those along the MAINE to DC coast.
So those that want the dingy, anchor, chain + rode, really anything you see let me know and ill drop it off.
